I am just about finished with another remix called Pianomoods from a new artist joining the JETLAG DIGITAL family named Marian, and i have been asked to remix a track from DJ Taucher and Shane from JETLAG also! Shapeless Remix by yours truly coming out in just about two weeks. 08.13.08. Body Of A Goddess EP comes in at 15 of the top 20 of this week's Progressivehouse.com chart. Wooot!!!! For truly having NO expectations (yes, i am totally over expecting things that i create to give) its nice to see a well received EP. Hello to All, sorry for no current updates, i have been sick and just not updating anything, BUT the latest for tonight's show is that we have every lined up except for my friend Matt who was also sick and could not get his mix done for the show, and as also been super busy getting ready for the Burning Man! So, he will be on next month or the following one, hopefully with a live mix from Burning Man:), you hear that Matt? Anyways, this show will be terrfic with an exciting line up of my "Ableton Boys". "i am a bedroom dj (currently). i play darker-style progressive house and techno(very recently). i've played in a few clubs for a while, but honestly, i can't stand clubs in general. i just like the music! recently started some production and remixes/mashups. my overall style is influenced by people like: facundo mohrr, mike brin, zimbardo, adam beyer, trentemoller, loudon kleer, and many many many more. other than music, i like macaroni and cheese,things that are green, lost(abc), reading, animals(no not that way...sorry goats!), and perhaps re-runs of press your luck.(no whammy, no whammy....stop" --------
Max Gueli is a South African born Italian Producer and DJ based in Rome, Italy. He began his musical career as a small time DJ based in Stellenbosch and Cape Town for small time venues and local bars/pubs at the age of 17. At 21 he moved his skills to Europe and eventually to the UK at 23 where he began to learn the realms of sound engineering and music production. At 26 he decided to leave the UK and return to Rome to further his production skills and has been based there ever since. Max’s styles range from progressive house/trance, with the added element of rich percussive grooves and minimal sounds. However, he hasn’t limited his taste to other styles and genres and has composed several chill-out, D&B and even rock tracks, be it his own productions or collaborations with other fellow producers and friends.
